Location: Abu Dhabi With excellent equipment and facilities The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The health care facilities that comprise SKMC are situated on an island about five miles wide and nine miles long. The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City provides a network of comprehensive health care facilities and services for the Island of Abu Dhabi. Patient Care services include Royal and VIP, Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Day Care, Critical Care, Operating Room, Post Anesthetic Recovery Room, Emergency and Outpatient Specialty Clinics and Behavioral Sciences. The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an interested and motivated individual to work and lead within the Specialist Nursing Team dealing with Acute Pain. You will be a First Level Registered Nurse with current nursing registration, having significant post registration experience including managing others in an Acute Pain Environment. You should possess a broad knowledge of caring for patients with acute pain. You will also be able to demonstrate proven team development and interpersonal skills. A detailed understanding of the wider aspects of an acute pain service provision is also necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration from an accredited program.( Msc desirable)
- Not less than 6 years post graduate, preferably in acute tertiary hospitals.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pain Management Nurse.
