We are excited to announce the continued growth of Big Fish Games and expansion recruitment for the Cork-based facility. Recruitment is now underway for strong talent focused on localisation, translation and testing. We are looking for people who are interested in contributing to a fun, quality focused, high performance team. As a Italian, Danish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese or Swedish Language Editor, you will be responsible for working directly with the Localisation Translators and the Site Coordinator in a rapidly changing environment to ensure the linguistic quality of a large volume of new PC titles for Italian, Danish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese or Swedish web portal. Were looking for someone who shares a deep interest in languages and Big Fish Games products. What youll be doing: - Work in a fun, fast paced environment - Perform language editing and localization testing on a variety of games
Qualifications:
Skills and experience you should bring to the table: - Associates degree required, and Bachelors in Business or language/linguistic field degree preferred - Fluency in English and Italian, Danish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese or Swedish (Native Tongue strongly preferred) - 6 months to 1 year game testing - Ability to maintain multiple projects at once with short release cycles - Basic understanding of the development cycle of a game project - Basic knowledge of the casual games market - Strong customer orientation, both internally and externally - Strong communication skills - Must be able to work independently at times - Excellent computer skills and MS Office knowledge - Team player - Positive attitude
