Job Title: Head of Performance Management Location: Abu Dhabi UAE Salary: Tax Free Salary, Free Flights, Medical Cover, Annal Return Flights, Accommodation Allowance, Utilities Allowance, 40-day Annual Leave Al Ain Hospital, a highly specialised acute care and emergency hospital with 412 beds and 30 medical departments and divisions, is one of the two major hospitals in the Al Ain region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi belonging to the health system of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA. The hospital provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services. It is also the base for medical education, training and research for two teaching hospitals from Europe and the UAE. On the basis of an agreement with SEHA, the leading European health specialists Vienna Medical University and VAMED have been managing Al Ain Hospital since June 2007 The Role: * To generate the activity data required for forecasting, budgeting and budget monitoring * To determine the indicators required to monitor the hospital strategy and operations and develops a performance plan based on the organizational and department objectives * To work as one team with clinical and administrative staff, providing them with key data and interpretation as needed for performance improvement. * To initiate and maintain a mechanism to periodically report healthcare related Key Performance Indicators (KPI). * To prepare and analyse data to provide information as requested. * To ensure all health information is complete, accurate, timely, and protected, as well, as to be committed to improving the standards of health information. * To contribute to establishing state-of-the-art reporting based on the hospital information system. * To perform other relevant functions as assigned by COO.
Qualifications:
* Degree in (Bio)Statistics or Health Information Management, MBA preferred. * Good and up to date knowledge about health information management practices and International Reporting Standards, analytic and leadership skills. * Proficiency in MS-Office Applications. * Knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (Al Ain Hospital uses "Cerner") ERP System is a "plus" * Knowledge with Database Administration.
