Description: Company: Milestone Technologies

- Install new Cisco UCS Products in Data Center and Configure the UCS hardware in accordance with Cisco-IT provided standards. Assuming Cisco-IT maintains Operating System Images
- Hardware installs (Rack, Stack and Label)
- Receive equipment
- Inventory items and update database
- Move equipment to datacenter
- Receive location for installation from Cisco-IT
- Install equipment into appropriate rack location
- Cable manage
- Label system
- Update inventory systems with Serial, asset, MAC, etc information
- Dispose of trash in Cisco provide dumpster
- Upgrade of firmware at installation, cable management and reconfiguring systems
- Microsoft and Linux OS installs per Cisco-IT instruction or "gold images"
- Ensure administrators can access the Cisco UCS system
- Utilize Cisco-IT's maintenance tools to manage trouble calls
- Receive trouble ticket
- Attempt high level troubleshooting
- Reboot
- Parts swap
- Loose cables
- Swap blades
- Can issue be resolved
* Yes - resolve and close ticket
* No - Escalate to appropriate party

Trouble tickets to include:
- DOA items
- Memory chip upgrades
- Blade swaps
- Replace parts failed and DOA parts on systems installed under this initiative during normal business hours, after hours parts replacement with be performed at the rates provided

On-Site Technicians - Data Center Support:

On-site services provided are intended to meet basic data center labor requirements of Cisco UCS and related components. These include:
- Racking and Stacking of individual or incidental components
- Installation of pre-defined and pre-tested operating system images (including but not limited to Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems
- Decommissioning of Servers
- Utilize Cisco-IT's SPUR program process to dispose of equipment as required

These support services do not include:
- Mass deployment of refresh programs or new initiatives outside the scope of the Cisco UCS initiative(s)
- Consultative tasks for the Cisco UCS, design and architecture nor administration of systems and applications

Highlights: Salary: Stipend within first 3 months with further job employment.

Qualifications: Skills Required:

- Active CCNA level certification
- EMC storage experience is a plus
- Data Center support
- Good communication skills

- English: Very Good
