Length of Position: minimum of 3 months

Description: The work will consist of regular hostel work such as providing information about the area, checking in guests, cleaning the hostel, selling of products such as food/beverages etc. Anyone is welcome to apply, candidate must be available for at least 3 full months or more though. Spanish and English are preferred.

Highlights: This is a good opportunity to meet people from all over the world and to exploit your language skills. You will only be working 5 days or shifts a week, so you will always have 2 days off per week. You will enjoy free accommodation and breakfast or dinner.

Hostal Ka'beh's Mission Statement: In a nutshell, Hostel Ka'beh is a cheap place to stay in Cancun with a relaxing atmosphere where you can meet other people, experience the culture and have all the amenities you need. You will wake up with the smell of fresh air, coffee, and breakfast while being close to the beach as well as the party scene and center of downtown Cancun. For those non-Mayan speakers out there: 'Ka'beh' is actually a Mayan word combination that means 'The day after tomorrow'. We chose a Mayan name in order to honor the rich local and regional Mayan culture (Famous Mayan pyramids, one of the new 7 wonders of the world!). As for the meaning, we chose 'The day after tomorrow' (Pasado Maana in Spanish) because we want to work to inspire others and ourselves to hope, and create a better future!
