Business Statistics Analyst

Description:
Our client is searching for a Business Stats Analyst to report to the Analytical Manager and improve Business Performance. You will provide data and support to business units via reports and analysis based on various data sources. You will have proven experience in: - advanced statistical analysis - developing data mining models - developing production processes - using statistical analysis technology and tools - working with large Data Warehouse and using query tools Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Work with a diverse team of business systems analysts to produce detailed business requirements specifications. - Coordinate with other business units to determine dependencies, impacts and/or requirements for new projects. - Identify areas for improvement with existing tools and communicate that vision with creative and/or development teams. - Ensure that business visibility on operations is clear by developing and improving reporting methodologies. - Responsible for reports and analysis to monitor business performance and support business decisions. * Salary is circa 25k
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent within financial mathematical or economic discipline - Minimum of 2 years experience in: - Operational reporting - Documentation / process writing skills - Proficient user of Excel and query tools - Basic programming skills - Process and Procedures Experience - Strong math/statistical/analytical background - Extremely creative with an aptitude and passion to problem solving and solutions provision - Strong business/commercial and customer focus with up to date knowledge of current and future economic and financial trends - Crystal Visio and Excel reporting competencies - Strong math/statistical/analytical background - Understanding of documentation / workflow technologies
Salary / Pay: Salary is circa 25k
