Description:
Our client is searching for a Management Accountant to act as the company lead contact for managed insurer clients providing regulatory, compliance and financial, services, to managed insurers in obtaining and retaining local insurance licenses. You will work on monthly management accounts, in addition to quarterly and annual returns and so you must have a number of years experience in this area. You will be part or fully CIMA / ACCA qualified. Your main roles are to provide ongoing statutory and regulatory compliance through preparation and submission of various monthly, quarterly and annual returns ensuring local/EU requirements, particularly with regards to solvency calculations are met. You will liaise with the managed insurers and other interested parties throughout the licensing process so you must be prepared to be client facing as necessary. You will take responsibility for the performance of your own clients in respect of workflow and process flow ensuring that identified service standards are met. You will liaise with the Underwriting and Processing Team to ensure that underwriting and claims reviews and audits take place within agreed service standards.
Qualifications:
* You must technically be very solid and confident to present your accounts to the board
* Ideally you must be locally based.
Salary / Pay: Salary is GBP 30k - GBP 35k with healthcare and pension.
