Description: "This long established investment advisory and stock broking firm is looking for an experienced Equity & Fixed Income Trader to join its Maltese team.

The Equity & Fixed Income Trader manages the fixed income and equity trading desk. Besides that the Equity & Fixed Income Trader also forms a key component of the companies investment committee, so can be expected to be responsible for monitoring investments and forwarding relevant research to the advisory team on a daily basis.

To be considered for the Equity & Fixed Income Trader role you have at least three years prior experience of working on a trading desk, preferably in a capital market. You should have a sound knowledge and track record of achievement in the fixed income / Equity sectors. It is expected this "hands on" experience will allow you to be able to analyse market information and developments and assess the likely effects of such developments on your portfolio positions. You will need to have had experience with Reuters and Bloomberg. Finally it would be beneficial if you possess a University degree in Finance or Economics or hold a financial services qualification.

The Equity & Fixed Income Trader is a well paid offshore finance job combining a good basic salary with an uncapped bonus.
