Description:
Leading Malaga-based Software company have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their Southern Spain head office. You will be responsible for quality assurance across the whole organization. The QA Manager will set in place processes and practices to ensure that our software products demonstrate the sort of quality and polish that this business stands for. The QA Manager role is incorporated into the overall Software Development team, providing start-to-finish QA support to all products, as well as coordinating with project managers, technical team leads, product managers, business stakeholders and build and release management to improve QA delivery at all stages of product development. Responsibilities: * Implement QA process/methodologies to ensure that our world class entertainment & business software systems are to the highest level of quality * Develop and execute on a master testing strategy applicable across all products and services * Analyze quality metrics and report to senior management about status as well as input leading to solid business decisions * Coordinate QA, Integration Testing, User Acceptance, Performance, Test Data and Test Environment management. * Evangelize QA methods/processes to all supporting groups/departments * Evaluate QA project plans to ensure deadlines are to be met * Deliver solutions to changing business requirements on pressured timelines * Liaise with personnel from all levels of an organization, both IT and business focused * Drive initiatives across a team comprised of Quality Analysts. * General team management tasks such as mentoring, career development, training plans, performance reviews.
Qualifications:
* 5-7 years in Software QA, with at least 3+ years managing staff * Bachelors degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems etc) * Experience writing test cases and plans. This includes the creation, execution, and reporting of status. * Experience with multiple test/defect tracking systems (test case management, project planning tools, test automation). * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Line management experience (recruiting, performance reviews, salary evaluation) * Solid understanding of the Software Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA's place within it. * Strong understanding of project delivery and implementation and Support methodology. * Experience in establishing and growing a QA team in a hyper growth organization a huge plus. * Implementing QA into an agile development environment is a plus.
