Description: Ock Pop Tok is currently seeking an Accounting, POS & Inventory System Manager. The business has out grown its current systems.

The overall mission of the Accounting, POS & Inventory System Manager is to revamp the systems and procedures so that they are on a par with western business retail practices.

The contract is for 6 months to one year, with the aim of handing the position over to a fully trained local counterpart at the end of the contract.

Ock Pop Tok is the Lao translation for east meets west. A Lao weaver and an English photographer founded it in 2000. The business is a silk textile producer and retailer based in Luang Prabang, Laos. It works under the principles of fair trade.

Ock Pop Tok employs around 30 weavers and more than 15 other staffs. The business indirectly supports the livelihoods of around 200 families in Laos.

Ock Pop Tok operates in 3 locations in Luang Prabang; two shops and a Weaving Centre on the banks of the Mekong.

Qualifications: Skills and requirements:
* You need to have a background in accounting and retail systems.
* We want someone with a strategic and resourceful mind and pays attention to detail. This is ideal for someone who wants to make their mark on our team, and has the patience to train others.
* Travel and work experience in Laos or South East Asia is preferable.
* Accounting systems experience (preferably QB)
* Previous Inventory Management Experience
* Previous experience with POS systems.
* Proven Systems development experience.
* A background in retail.
* Some level of IT networking.

Minimum Education: Bachelors

Salary / Pay: Local Salary of 800 USD plus bonuses.
