Credit Manager/Front Office - Geneva

Length of Position: Permanent

Description: Credit Management/Front Office Manager
Job location: Geneva (Switzerland) but job involves a lot of travelling to clients and prospects location (continental Europe but mainly France)
Swiss Contract: £3,000 - £4,500 Euros per month (negotiable depending on experience) plus car, plus expenses, and relocation to Geneva to be agreed.

Job Description:

Would suit someone who has worked as a Credit Manager for various organizations, (Shared Service Centre or Contact Centre) or as a Credit Manager for a Business Consultancy. Will need circa 5-10 yrs experience in order to have an in depth knowledge of both Credit Control processes, implantation, recruitment, operations. Native/Fluent French speaker and English speaker, German skills would also be a plus.

The Front Office Executive works closely with both Sales and Operations staff (Front Office Manager, Credit Director and Team Leaders) on project analysis, set-up / implementation as well as continuous client management, therefore acting also as the Sr. contact person to our clients.

Projects are related to long-term outsourcing partnerships with large organizations for whom we provide tailor-made Accounts Receivables management services. This is an exciting opportunity for those candidates looking to put in practice their Credit Management know-how on several different organizations and industries while acting as a central key person of a Credit Management consulting and outsourcing specialist.

Credit Management Front Office Executive reports directly to Front Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Sales staff validating service proposals on the functional / operational side (feasibility of project, human resources required, Team Leader profile required, etc.).
- Support Human Resources and Credit Director in recruiting Team Leaders for new projects.
- Supporting Team Leaders during work shadowing business trips to client's during projects' set-up.
- Responsible to guide Team Leaders in drafting Operations Procedures Manuals repository with Contracts, detailing scope of services, description of processes, agreed reporting and maintaining a log with latest version and document status.
- Regularly liaise with internal Operations staff (Credit Director and Team Leaders) to assess service progress.
- Regularly visit existing clients (sometimes together with Team Leader) to debrief on service progress and / or participate to conference calls with clients together with Team Leaders.
- Envision technical operational strategies that help achieving the targeted goals agreed with clients over the contract term.

Functional competencies required:

- Native French speaker.
- Perfect command of English.
- Command of other European languages will be a plus
- Proven track record in Collections, Accounting and / or Credit & Risk Management supported by relevant qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience of working in an A/R environment in a Management, Supervisory or Consulting position.
- Exposure to ERP packages (SAP, JDE, Oracle, Baan, etc.).
- Familiar with Microsoft Office package and Project Management tools.

Professional competencies required:

- Experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit within several companies or have worked for a Credit Management service provider.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Know how to define and formalize client's needs.
- Sales / After-sales and Operations oriented focus.
- Ability to operate at a senior level in collaboration with diverse internal and external executives.
- Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision, to set priorities and work to own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, maturity and leadership qualities.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly growing & fast changing environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality of work and effective multi-tasking

Qualifications:
- Native French speaker
- Perfect command of English.
- Command of other European languages will be a plus
