The Guernsey office of this well known investment house is looking for a Portfolio manager to take specific responsibility for the daily investment management operations. The main duties of this Portfolio Manager job involve the management of the main Cayman based portfolio. You will also be asked to provide the main risk management function and ensure compliance with company's statutory and regulatory obligations. Besides the management of the proprietary investment portfolio you can expect to be asked to have a senior managerial role upon all the Guernsey activities of this business unit and associated companies. Finally you will be asked to mentor, coach and develop the more junior members of the team. To be considered for this well paid offshore job you will have to be able to display a strong background in portfolio management, with an in-depth knowledge of complex financial instruments.
