Description:
Opening hours are 5pm to 1am, 2am Friday & Saturday, and 4pm to midnight on Sundays. Closing time is flexible and you would be expected to continue serving for 1 or 2 hours more when the business is there. The job is 5 days a week, spending 1-2 hours preparing for opening and about 1 hour cleaning up after closing. You would be working with 1 other bar person ( and the owner ).Sun, Mon you open and close, Tues and Fri you open (7pm to end) and Sat you Close. You will be expected to stock kegs and bottles, clear empty kegs and bottles, sweep outside, clean windows etc. as necessary, set up tables, check and stock toilets, carry out small repairs (light bulbs etc.). Quiet days and times are times for cleaning shelves and all of the bar area. On party days ( St. Patricks Day, Halloween, pub“s birthday party etc. ) you will be expected to engage fully to maximise business. These days will involve very long hours.
Highlights:
The job is available immediately. Pay may not be as good as Ireland but as the cost of living is so much lower you can perhaps live better. As tips are very good you may only need to pay your rent (also cheap) from your monthly wages.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a person with, for example lounge staff experience to train as a full-time bar person. No bar experience is necessary as full training will be provided, but some experience, such as working as lounge staff would be useful. Applicants without bar experience are preferred as we have our own way of working.

Salary / Pay: 900.00 per month, rising to 1,000.00 after 2 months satisfactory work. Monthly salary cannot be compared with Ireland as the cost of living is so much lower. Comprehensive health insurance is also paid by the employer.
