Description:
Work in France programme. Work in France gives you a unique opportunity to work in Europe and earn money to fund your stay. A position within hospitality and catering or agriculture is sourced for you and can earn GBP 8.71 per hour! That's roughly GBP 8ph! Paid work in France will allow all those who have the ability to speak French where you have the opportunity to live and work in France in locations all over France in a fun summer job, giving you the chance to live and travel over one of Europe's top destination. Whether you are looking for a student summer job in France or looking for a career break the work in France programme is a great way to improve your language skills and learn French while your immersed in the French culture.
Highlights:
After an initial stay in Paris, where you will meet the support team and be provided with your orientation and full information concerning living and working in France, you will travel to your placement. Most positions are available in the hotel and catering industry. However there are also opportunities in agriculture, and some cleaning and sales positions. The type of position is not guaranteed and if you are to be given the opportunity of a position with direct contact with customers then you will need to have an upper intermediate level of French. You can expect to work between 30-40 hours per week. The timetable is flexible depending on the position and on average you will receive 2 days off per week. You will be paid the French minimum wage. Work in France positions are available for 2 -3 months.
