Description:
Do something a little more exciting in your Summer break, earning money and making new friends in the USA. There is so much to do in the USA and the combination of working and traveling for a few months across such vast and colourful landscapes will provide you with a unique taste of the American life. This summer cultural exchange programme is designed to allow university students to spend 3-4 months working in the USA (with 1 additional month to travel). The programme allows you both the freedom and flexibility to find your own job in the USA (except working with children and in healthcare). This programme may not have a set itinerary. Highlights:
* Accommodation & Meals With your job offer the employer should either offer company housing or aid in your accommodation search. If you have secured a job but your employer hasn't offered you accommodation call them back to see what they can offer. You will be responsible for purchasing and preparing your own meals. * Free Time During your free time, you are able to do as you choose. You can use this time to explore the local area or travel further afield if you have time. This programme also allows you 1 month to travel afterward, a perfect opportunity to explore this great continent further. * Getting There You will need to arrange a flight to the nearest airport close to the city that you will be working in. Please bear in mind that you may need to book an internal flight to arrive at your final destination. * Whats Included in the Programme: - Freedom to find your own job in the USA (except working with kids and in healthcare) - Information on how to find a job in the USA - Pre Departure information for the USA - Visa processing and sponsorship - 5/6.75 Phone Card - 24/7 emergency assistance Whats Not Included in the Programme - Flights - Travel Insurance - Spending Money - SEVIS Fee (18/24.3) - US Embassy Fee (65/87.75) - Accommodation, food, bills whilst in America
Qualifications:
- Aged between 18 and 30 years due to visa restrictions. - You need to be currently enrolled at a UK university and able to prove you are coming back to the UK after the summer.
