You: Freelance writer, based in China, interested & experienced in business/import/export topics

Topic: Beginner's Advice Guide on Various Import/Export Topics.
Since this is a beginner's guide, in-depth research and knowledge is less important than a clear and engaging writing style and an ability to put together useful tips and resources.

One time fee for 2 month job. Part retainer up front, rest on completion. No royalties. Fee is negotiable, please see application notes below.

Two main parts:
- c200 A4 page book, structure, topics, guide to research sources provided
- 10 audio interviews, topics and some candidates are suggested but it's up to you to find people, visit them, make the recordings and transcripts

Conditions:
- You need to be able to complete the written evaluation and we prefer candidates who can visit our offices in Shenzhen for interview. In other words, Shenzhen local expats are preferred but we will also consider applications from expats based elsewhere in China.
- Work from home / part time / remote work fully acceptable.
- Your voice will feature in the audio interviews so you need to be comfortable with that.

Qualifications: Prerequisites for writer:
- Expatriate native English speaker with highly polished writing ability
- Experience of China import/export
- Business background
- Confident style and good speaker, able to conduct recorded interviews (see above)

Salary / Pay: After detailed discussion of the scope of the project we will agree a fee. One time fee for 2 month job. Part retainer up front, rest on completion. No royalties.
