Length of Position: 3-12months

Description: As a resort photographer, you would be responsible for taking pictures of the guests throughout the days while they are doing activities including those organized by the entertainment teams.

As the hotels are all inclusive, most of the guests remain on property during the day and participate in many of the activities. Another service offered by Photoshop resorts are pre-arranged special photo sessions including sunset, beach or other special location shoot. Additionally, photography services for weddings, group and conventions and special events are offered.

Once a significant amount of photos are taken, they are downloaded to the PC's in the Photoshop where they are displayed on screen and available for purchase by the guests in digital or print format. During high season, each photographer will take approximately 1000 photos per day. There are normally 2 photographers on staff per day at a typical resort.

All the necessary equipment is provided by the Photoshop including the cameras: typically Canon or Nikon equipment.

Our compensation package is incentive based with a secured minimum wage per month. Included in our compensation package is shared housing, a daily meal in the cafeteria, and your uniform, all in addition to the benefits required by Mexican law.
Employment term will be based on renewable contracts of 3 to 6 months with an initial 30 day probationary (paid) period.

Salary / Pay: Our compensation package is incentive based with a secured minimum wage per month. Your monthly compensation will be equal to 15% of the gross sales of photos you have taken with a secure minimum salary of MXN5,000 pesos per month, whichever is greater for full time employees. The commission for weddings and special events is 10% calculated separately from your monthly minimum.
