This company is a full-service boutique hotel management and consulting company, providing small-to-medium-size hotels with a comprehensive variety of services. Their offerings enable developers, investors, entrepreneurs, owners and managers to significantly and measurably improve their hotel business performance. Their clientele range from those with no experience in the hospitality industry who desire to create a successful guesthouse or small hotel, to institutional investors and property developers who are interested in developing new, or turning around existing and underperforming hotels. They believe in the creation of value as the ultimate driving force behind every investment decision, whether large or small. Their services range from one-off projects such as the development of business feasibility studies and the creation of a marketing plan to comprehensive hotel management services. As an intern your duties could include the following: -Business Plan Creation:Market Analyses including Competitor Analyses, Economic Impact Assessments, and definition of the Target Market; Partnership Development; New Revenue Streams including the set-up and implementation of onsite Leisure Services; Marketing Services including Online and Offline Marketing, Website Development, Advertising, Public Relations, Online Reservation Systems, Search Engine Optimisation, and Travel Website Coverage and Listings; Financial Plans - creation of pro-forma 10-year Profit and Loss Statements with detailed overview of expenses and assumptions used to build the cost and revenues numbers, Best and Worst case P & L overview building on business development and partnership assumptions; Prior-to-Business-Commencement Services including the development of Feasibility Studies and the orchestrating and ongoing management of Town Planning Services, such as Rezoning and Consent-Use Applications, Heritage Council Approvals, Traffic Impact Assessments, and Department of Trade & Industry Grant Applications; Staff Procurement - focusing on the sourcing and training of new staff; Pricing Optimisation - ensuring that clients receive the optimum price for services offered; Operational Reviews - including provision of enhanced processes, procedures & supplier analyses

Qualifications:
-Preferred study background in Business Administration, strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office. -Successful candidates are innovative, self-starters, independent, highly creative workers with good follow-up skills, energetic, organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills. -Some previous internship or work experience preferred but not essential
