Description: ESD is an innovative program in local High Schools to educate students about key topics of Sustainable Development while it provides interns an introduction to development issues in China and the experience to work in one of the most exciting emerging markets.

We are currently looking for:
(1) Project Coordinator
The project coordinator is actively working with the Executive Director to scale the project to more schools in China incl. signing school partnerships, sourcing for intern teachers, preparing intern teachers for the program, organizing the introduction training to intern teachers, fund raising and any other area the trainee is passionate about.

Highlights:
The trainee will be part of a very young and dynamic team, who founded the program and is therefore very passionate and motivated.

The trainee has the chance to travel around China including Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai for trainings and meetings and interact with various organizations including Education Ministeries, MNEs and schools while learning about sustainability and development of China.

ESD China will provide you with:
*Training about Sustainability and Development issues in China
*Training in Sales and Negotiations in China
*We will support you with your visa arrangements and accommodation in China
*ESD will support you with your cultural integration in China

Qualifications:
*English fluent (required), Mandarin basic (preferred)
*Entrepreneurial Attitude: Can do attitude, opportunity thinking
*Project management experience preferred
*Marketing experience preferred

Cost in US$: 0

Salary / Pay: At the current point no funds can be provided, however a we have the intention to pay a salary from January 2009 onwards depending on the incoming funds.

Typical Volunteer: Incoming interns usually teach the Sustainability curriculum at various high schools for the duration of 3-4 month. There are from everywhere in the world. For the first 2 month the project management intern will work and live with those interns to get to know the program and to travel around China. Than the intern will work with the executive team in Beijing.

Age Range: 20-27

This Program is open to Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and Worldwide Participants.
