Description: RMG Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is a shared services and IT company, wholly owned by Regent Markets Group Ltd., an international financial betting and derivatives group affiliated to Regent Pacific Group, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. RMG Technology (M) Sdn Bhd forms part of an international group with staff in 5 countries. RMG Technology (M) Sdn Bhd specialises in Linux-based software development and makes extensive use of technologies such as Apache, Perl/mod_perl, PHP, Java, C/C++, XML, SQL. We are a very Linux-centric organization with all staff working on Linux workstations. Our company maintains a network of high-traffic web servers for substantial overseas e-commerce operations.

We are looking for Talented Software Developers. Primary Responsibilities include:

    * Evaluation and implementation of new software technologies on our e-Commerce websites.
    * Maintenance and enhancement of existing code base.
    * Optimization (profiling) of existing code base.
    * Ensure our e-Commerce websites stay on the forefront of technology by providing analysis, ideas, suggestions and so forth.

Qualifications: Required Experience

    * Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
    * Programming skills: Perl, PHP, C/C++.
    * Knowledge of Java is an advantage.
    * Good understanding of Linux and relevant Software development environments.
    * Knowledge of SVN, CVS, etc.
    * Required language(s): English.
    * At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    * Be able to work independently and under pressure.
