Description: Mortgage company in Escazu seeks a "star loan processor/underwriter" to join our growing team. The individual will serve as a liaison between customers, loan consultants and our network of lenders. The position will have significant responsibility in securing residential financing for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing the loan applications to match to lender requirements.
- Working with sales personnel and customers to obtain and provide information as the primary conduit to lenders providing financing.
- Manage the submission and tracking of loan applications to our lenders for processing.
- Providing updates to loan consultants, clients and other interested parties.
- Maintain internal systems and databases as necessary to process loans.

Qualifications:
- 3+ yrs financial services experience.
- Underwriting experience greatly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Ability to work independently.
- English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Customer service orientation.
- Strong quantitative analysis roles problem solving abilities.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable and goal-oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Team player, friendly, self-starter with a great attitude.
- Proficient and/or prior experience using Calyx Point preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
