Description:
To act as the on-site manager of a small quality eco-lodge dive resort on Panama's Caribbean coast near the San Blas Islands. Must be able to work in an isolated location. Requires managing logistics, supervising and motivating staff, selling and organizing various tours and activities for clients, supervising the house keeping, grounds, maintenance and restaurant staff, attending to guest in the restaurants and bar, some bookkeeping and lots of maintenance. In a small hotel one has to do a little of everything. A "hands on" management position ideal for an active, hard working and reliable individuals with a love of nature and adventure. An adequate level of Spanish is a must for both.

Qualifications:
Preferably a married couple which between the two of them would have most of the following qualifications: - Able to worki in a remote, isolated beach location - Adept at personnel management, able to delegate, supervise and generate respect - Restaurant/kitchen/bar experience important - Adept at problem solving - Management experience - Scuba diving certification a plus - Knowledge of boats and the ocean - Good mechanical abilities to resolve basic maintenance problems - SPANISH LEVEL: GOOD - English level: Excellent - Personable and outgoing - Not looking for a 9 to 5 and not afraid of hard work. The ideal couple would have between the two of them the following qualifications: - Restaurant-Chef-culinary experience important. - Excellent mechanical and maintenance skills. - Related management experience. - Good knowledge of boats and the ocean - Must be personable and outgoing. - Must know how to manage and gain the respect of a staff in a remote location.

Salary / Pay: Because the resort has started with only 6 over the water bungalows the starting salary will be limited to just above local rates but will become attractive for the right individual. The salary would depend on the number of important qualifications the couple has. The position includes housing and board.
