Village Camps-Camp Nurse
Description:
Health care manager is responsible for camper and staff health. Daily duties range from providing first aid and administering medication to participating in all aspects of camp life. Other duties involve participating in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, rock climbing, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, horse riding, tennis, soccer and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Village Camps runs programmes in Switzerland, France, Austria, England and Ireland, May through October including summer and day camps; English, French and German instruction; Tennis and golf camps; Outdoor educational and adventure camps as well as many other exciting programmes. Qualifications:
* Minimum 23 years old * Experience caring for children in a residential environment * Possess RSN medical training and qualification or equivalent * Current first aid certificate * Valid drivers license (manual shift) * Patient and polite when dealing with clients and staff * Enthusiasm, sense of humour and self-control * Professional and presentable * Good communication skills in French and English * Desire to live and work in a resident camp environment spending 24 hours a day, day after day with children
Salary / Pay: Net Allowance: Based on skills, languages and experience. Minimum starting wage 450 chf/week net. Benefits: Full room and board, accident/liability insurance.
