Description: An exciting opportunity for a Medical Officer to move to South Africa, for short and long-term contracts. To facilitate the planned developments we need to recruit a wide variety of nursing staff with a spectrum of skills & knowledge. We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Officer to render a primary healthcare service at PHC facilities and in local communities outside of institutional settings in order to promote, preserve and improve the health of the community.

Main responsibilities: The rendering of functional clinical PHC services as per the comprehensive core package of PHC and approved service profile of the health division
* a health related information and health education service
* a supervision service to nurses in clinics
* a client record service and institution-bound record service
* operational, logistical and administrative service in clinics
* positive internal and outward public relations
* medico-legal requirements to patients

Qualifications:
Essential skills:
* MB ChB degree
* 2 years experience

Salary / Pay: Salary is dependant on experience and within the bracket of R157,686 R228,492 (10 GBP, 187 to 14,761) per annum plus 30 days holidays. In addition to this you will receive R86,436 (5,584 GBP) of benefits in the form of housing, cars etc.
