Description: International Humanity Foundation focuses on educating and feeding children who come from the most marginalized and disadvantaged backgrounds. IHF has set up orphanages in Kenya, Indonesia and Thailand. It is a small grassroots organization which offers free classes for and financial assistance to students (through sponsorships) for the poorest children of Nakuru, Kenya.
As director, you will be responsible for the overall management of our education center and orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya. Your time will be divided between local tasks at the center with the children and international tasks for the whole of the International Humanity Foundation.
Responsibilities include:
*overseeing the teachers and classes
*preparing financial reports
*giving tasks to international volunteers
*communicating with village leaders to find the neediest children
*helping children write letters to their sponsors
*taking photos and other tasks.

Qualifications: *Applicants must be fluent in English and Swahili, have a university education and act with a strong work, independent ethic.
*have good computer and leadership skills
*must not give up easily and be prepared to work with the local community
Because you will be living and working with children, you must be sensitive to their needs and comfortable around them.

Minimum Education: Bachelors

Salary / Pay: USD $120-200 a month + room + board (three meals a day).

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and World Wide Participants.
