Description: We are designing a master planned golf community and need someone to envision, design, and implement golf course holes. This is a great opportunity to gain great experience and recognition as a proven designer of a golf course. We are interested in planning with the natural landscape in mind, and taking a minimalist approach.

The Landscape Architect position at Keystone View is based in the town of Bagaces, within the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The company itself is situated approximately 1.5 km from Bagaces. Transportation costs to and from Costa Rica for the internship program is the sole responsibility of the intern. You can purchase a second hand bike; take a taxi or walk... any of which will take you no more than 20 minutes.

There is an informal and relaxed atmosphere within Keystone View. You will have the opportunity to work independently and in teams on the projects assigned to you from inception to completion. The working week is from 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday and Friday 7:30am - 3:15pm. You are allowed two fifteen minute breaks and thirty minutes for lunch during the workday.

Keystone View will provide you with a weekly stipend paid directly into a Costa Rican bank account. The account will be opened once you arrive. The weekly wage, $75.00 USD, is paid at the end of the week, in the local currency. This weekly wage provides an adequate amount of money to pursue your interests and explore other regions within Costa Rica on the weekends.

Keystone View is an American company operating in Costa Rica and there are many English speakers, however, the primary language spoken by the employees is Spanish. Spanish is a plus, but is not required. There are Spanish lessons available at an additional cost to you.

Qualifications:
-A degree in Golf Course Design, Landscape Architect, Ecology, or some thing relative to outdoor development
-Creativity, enough to see a piece of land, envision a golf hole, and then make it happen.
-Ambitious with the ability to work independently and produce results at a high level with out constant supervision.
-Leadership characteristics are imperative. You will take command of your team and coach them through the development process.
-The ability to multi-task with the ability to work on many projects at once and have success with all of them. -English is a must and Spanish is a plus.

Salary / Pay: Intern will be provided with a home stay and provided with 3 meals a day.
