We currently have Pashto translator positions overseas in Afghanistan. Our company, Mission Essential Personnel has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to provide translation and interpretation services in Afghanistan. This is an opportunity for you to help rebuild Afghanistan and provide cultural awareness and support where needed. I have listed the details of the position below and compensation for a first year contract is $210,000-$220,000/yr for US Citizens; bi-annual salary increases will apply. Qualifications:
Requirements: - Must be a U.S. Citizen fluent in speaking Pashto - Must be willing to obtain a security clearance - Must be willing to travel overseas, in this case, Afghanistan Duties: - Providing general language and cultural support for U.S. Military personnel and citizens of Afghanistan to aide in the rebuilding process. - Interpret spoken communications during interviews, meetings, and conferences. - Translate written documents, newspaper articles, and other written media.
