Description:
Our client is searching for a Finance Manager to report to the Financial Controller, whose main responsibilities will be: Review and analysis of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet statements and constituent accounts. Managing three members of staff who are responsible for the posting of the accounting entries for these operations and reconciling the constituent accounts. Ensuring that the accounts for the operations are produced on a timely basis. Reviewing Balance sheet and Profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy of information and presentation. Management of purchase ledger and supplier payments for operations. Point finance person for all Operational issues for these business elements. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and review of actual performance against budget for these operations Liaising with external auditors during audit process. Management and development of staff members. Salary is £30,000 - £40,000
Qualifications:
Technical Skills Required: - Accounting qualification or relevant experience
- Banking and payment processing knowledge
- Good command of Excel
- Accounting software experience, preferably Great Plains Key Competencies: - Staff management experience.
- Effective direction and coaching of staff and delegation of responsibilities.
- Attention to detail, but able to see the big picture
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary / Pay: 30000 - 400000 GBP p/anum
