Description:
Develops and puts in place an active library program that enhances student participation. Organizes existing material under international standards,oversees and suggests new material and media means for research.

Qualifications:
* Education : Master's Degree in the assigned field * Experience: Minimum three years. It is desirable that some of the experience be in bicultural settings * Language: English (Basic knowledge of Spanish is helpful) * Competencies: Candidates must be able to - Fulfill school objectives - Work in a team environment - Plan and implement effective programs - Utilize a variety of media and library strategies - Solve problems - Demonstrate excellent communication skills - Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, parents, peers and all personnel
Minimum Education: Masters
Salary / Pay: Salary is based on candidate's education, experience and professional development studies. Teachers are placed on a salary scale that is very competitive for the local market. Housing and travel allowance, along with full health insurance are some of the benefits that foreign hires receive. Life in Ecuador is not nearly as expensive as in the United States
