Teaching English Jobs in Spain
Spain
Length of Position: 3 to 9 Months
Description:
Ahh! Siestas, tapas by the beach and bars that stay open all night! Spain is one heck of a TEFL destination. And with one of the worlds largest tourist industries, it has huge demand for teachers but stiff competition for jobs. However, across the country there are positions available year-round, and the best schools offer good working conditions and decent salaries. The most successful teachers appeal to the exuberant Spanish character by making their lessons entertaining and fun; its the best way to distract your students, and yourself, from the warm sunshine and beautiful vistas outside the window. Spain is one of the most popular countries for both the first-time and seasoned TEFL teacher. It provides you the opportunity to get paid work in a great climate and live a laid back life-style. We have a limited number of placements in Madrid and other parts of Spain for i-to-i graduates. What's more, not all the placements require a university degree. This is an ideal opportunity for the first-time teacher to get some experience under their belts. A Few Details... Siestas and Sangria?! Yes! But more importantly, you can earn up to USD 1640 per month while working in Madrid or other areas throughout Spain. Whether you want a 3 month teaching excursion or a 9 month contract, you're sure to find a renewable contract (bet you'll be itching to renew it!) here. With 4 - 6 hours of lessons a day and ample holidays (3 weeks over Christmas, 10 days over Easter and all public holidays!), you're sure to completely immerse yourself in Spanish culture!
