Highlights:
Nursing Today Nursing in the 21st century offers more opportunities than ever before. The challenges and rewards the profession offers are unique. Nursing can be many careers in one, due to the variety of clinical specialties of which there are approximately 30, and the diversity of working environments. The ability to combine the challenge of intellectual and emotional stimulation allows nurses to make a real difference to people's lives by applying their skills and knowledge as an integral part of the healthcare team. About Nursing Nurses are highly respected in the community and are recognised for the breadth of knowledge and skills required to care for their patients. They work as part of teams of highly skilled professionals, in positions of authority, supporting one another with their specialty areas of knowledge. The huge advances in medical technology and therapy has meant that nurses' skills must reflect the ever-changing and developing world around them; nurses must be ready to adapt those skills to a wide variety of situations. Nurses act as patient advocates as well as anticipating and responding to their care needs on both an acute and ongoing basis. Working closely with other nurses results in the formation of close and rewarding working relationships that often last a lifetime. There are many employment prospects available for newly qualified nurses. In the last few years there has been an excess of jobs for new nursing graduates, providing not only employment for life but also the opportunity for them to choose where, when and what type of work they do. The portability of nursing also means that nurses can travel within and outside their home country, widening their professional and cultural experiences. Nursing provides job security and a salary structure in line with other professions whilst offering more flexibility, and an opportunity to fit in with other commitments rather than competing with them. The traditional role of nursing is evolving quickly and nurses today must have skills to lead healthcare teams in promoting health and administering therapies, as well as being at the forefront of cutting edge science and technology. Our company places nursing staff in best fit contracts and manages those contracts allowing the nurses to earn better money and be rewarded with international experience, extending their skills. Our health professionals travel widely and choose their location within the Commonwealth.Initial contracts are in New Zealand where we can provide assistance and manage immigration submissions, accommodation and provide a full support package. Many of our health professionals continue to work with us over the span of their careers.
