Description:
Get paid and have fun living in France! Placements are in Southern France, the Alps, or French oversea territories. Job duties include everything from working at the front desk, customer relations, hosting, serving, bartending, cleaning, washing, and food prepping. Chef/culinary positions are occasionally available and depend on experience.
Highlights:
Cultural Embrace pre-arranges and provides work placement prior to arrival or three interviews upon arrival. Work in a French hotel, restaurant, pub, B&B, or inn. Compensation includes either a) clean, comfortable and safe accommodations included with your position or b) minimum wage (8.71 Euros/hr) with housing assistance provided. Staff support is available prior to departure and you will have local representation once in the country. Have fun and enhance your resume working with people your age from all around the world!
Qualifications:
You must be at least 18 years of age. You must be a current university student with the hospitality industry as your primary field of study, or you must have recent work experience in the hospitality/tourism field. You must have intermediate or advanced level of French. You enjoy working with and serving others in a busy and fast-paced environment. You are responsible and dedicated to full term of commitment.
Minimum Education: High School
Salary / Pay: You will receive full room and board plus a weekly stipend of 50 euros (approximately USD65/week), or you will receive minimum wage (8.71 euros/hr) plus housing assistance
