Description:
We are seeking a full-timer with some qualifications in Irish cooking. Your first responsibility will be to take our current menu and develop it to provide a higher quality of food. You will usually work alone but you will be expected to train part-timers to cover days off, Irish Breakfast etc. Our kitchen is currently open from 18.00 to 23.00 ( 00.00 on Friday and Saturday ). You will manage stock and ordering and possibly shop in wholesalers for bar and kitchen.
Highlights:
The job will be available from September. Pay may not be as good as Ireland but as the cost of living is so much lower you can perhaps live better. As tips are very good you may only need to pay your rent (also cheap) from your monthly wages.
Qualifications:
One or two years training in a hotel or catering company in Ireland would be useful. Ability to plan and prepare food for a busy pub essential.
Salary / Pay: The salary offered is 900 Euro monthly net, rising to 1,100 after 2 months satisfactory work. We pay all taxes, health insurance. We normally pay 100.00 Euro per week as an advance on salary.
