Description:
ACLE (Associazione Culturale Linguistica Educational) is a non-profit organization endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Education operating successfully for 26 years. ACLE promotes a student-based teaching method and is the first in Italy to teach English to children through Theatre In Education (T.I.E) with our touring company, Theatrino. Young, enthusiastic actors with T.I.E. experience are being selected to tour Italian schools presenting interactive English language shows supported by workshops (knowledge of Italian not necessary). Touring in groups of three, you will perform English shows and coordinate class workshops for particular age groups. As an actor, you should have the flexibility to perform in a range of genres from Slapstick to Shakespeare. We also allow you the freedom to bring your own skills and personality into each sketch. This is an exciting opportunity for actors with a love for T.I.E. and children. This unique experience provides the opportunity to act, teach and travel Italy taking in the Italian culture. It is an invaluable opportunity for future careers and an experience never to be forgotten! Theatrino provides a return flight from London UK, accommodation, car, petrol, insurance, paid rehearsals and a weekly cash salary.. We also welcome applicants from outside the UK, please Contact Us for more information, application forms and alternative show reel options for overseas actors. Applications close October 28th, 2009.
