Description:
Become part of the American Collegiate Adventures (ACA) summer staff! ACA is a summer pre-college enrichment program located on campuses in the US, Europe and Central America. Program locations include: * Madison, Wisconsin * D.C., Philadelphia & Boston * Seville, Spain * Florence, Italy * Costa Rica & Panama and include travel to major surrounding cities every weekend! We are looking for staff who excel in working with high school age students. Staff members must be high energy, dedicated, responsible and hard working throughout their time with ACA. This program will allow staff members invaluable training in leadership and mentoring. Highlights:
ACA staff are responsible for: - Creating a safe, warm, supportive and fun environment for all ACA students - Mentoring, advising, supervising and being a role model for students - Creating, facilitating and participating in afternoon and evening activities - Living with and supervising students on floors of residence halls and hotels - Accompanying students in and around campuses/cities and on weekend trips
Qualifications:
American Collegiate Adventures Counselor Eligibility: - Applicants must be college graduates and must be at least 21 years of age - Applicants for Spain and Costa Rica programs must be fluent in Spanish - Applicants for Italy program must be fluent in Italian - Applicants must have past experience working with high school age students
Salary / Pay: In addition to salary (determined on an individual basis) ACA staff will be provided with transportation to and from the program as well as room and board.
