Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Website Traffic Analysis - Implement successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management on pay-per-click search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN - Write copy for pay-per-click campaign ads - Ongoing management of pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns including reporting, analysis, and optimization - Actively test, analyze and optimize keywords, title and descriptions, landing pages and position to increase ROI and drive sales - Monitor overall SEO program success with regard to keyword ranking, indexed pages, backlinks, etc - Perform competitive analysis to help drive future SEO - Manage and optimize banner campaigns - Write articles on a wide range of subjects - Write website copy - Write newsletters for clients in different industries - Keep abreast of changes in search engine ranking - Communicate with the designer during initial design stage to ensure designs are search engine friendly - Actively seek out new and innovative ways of promoting websites - Source new clients, and become the main point of contact
Highlights:
The town where the office is based is small, relaxed, and friendly. You will stay with a family (you may find your own place when you get here if you prefer) although staying with a family is a great way to learn Spanish. An early finish on a Friday ensures you have time to get the beautiful Guanacaste beaches, or visit rain forests, volcanoes, etc. We are a very small company at the moment, so it is very relaxed; we are looking for someone who will work well with us.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must be able to provide examples and case studies of successful Search Engine Optimization and Marketing. - The candidate must be a self starter who is prepared to take the lead on all things related to SEO and website promotion. - Good organizational and communication skills - Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not essential
Salary / Pay: The salary will be USD 500 a month. This is well above the local average. The wage is enough to go to beaches, rain forests etc each weekend. The candidate would have to arrange their own travel to Costa Rica.
