Description:
Since 1985, CCUSA has provided cultural and work exchange programs in countries around the world. Work Adventures Down Under allows Americans and Canadians age 18-30 to travel to Australia and/or New Zealand to work and live for 4 months or up to 12 months. Many participants also take advantage of our Combo Program, to work in both Australia and New Zealand on back to back programs. Participants can apply year round, with weekly departures. Choose from our Basic program to the Ultimate program with full arrival services, and add on scuba, ski, and surf programs to round out your working adventure. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to head Down Under! If you're looking for other programs to work, intern, or volunteer abroad, check out CCUSA's Volunteer Experience programs throughout the world and our Camp Counselor programs abroad as well for US and Canadian citizens!
Highlights:
Various programs include: Basic Down Under - This is an excellent option for those who need help in getting their visa sponsorship and general resources on how to get started once you arrive. We sponsor your visa, provide you with travel insurance, as well as resources for airline flights and to help you with your job search. This is a great option for those who already have a plan of what kind of work you want to do in Australia, or have friends there ready to help you get on your feet. Ultimate Down Under - This option offers everything the Basic Package does- but goes a bit further to assist you in hitting the ground running as soon as you arrive in Sydney (or Auckland if you choose New Zealand). In addition to the services above, we also offer airport pickup, three nights lodging at a hostel in central Auckland, comprehensive arrival orientation, the chance to meet with a Job Placement Agency and get resources on lodging and accommodation, and much much more to get your started on your working adventure! Our partners from the Job Placement Agency regularly secure jobs in a variety of industries from Hospitality and Tourism, to Customer Service, Agricultural, Administrative, and beyond. They can help you find a fun, casual job in a variety of industries for your time in Australia or New Zealand. Ultimate Combo- As long as you're immersing yourself in life down under, why not experience life in both Australia and New Zealand for up to a full 2 years! Choose which country you'd like to live in first, then have us assist you with your next work visa to round out your working adventure down under! Highlights: Optional one week Surf Camp and/or Dive programs in Sydney, Cairns, and on the Great Barrier Reef! You can go on your own or travel with a friend.
