Length of Position: 1 year or longer

Description: Website creation for Costa Rican and International companies. You will manage the clients that we already have and create web sites, and small web based applications for new clients.

You will liaise with the sales person, and the graphic designer, and the programmer to complete projects. You will also design and code yourself when there are lots of projects to be completed.

The candidate:

- Needs to be able to work on multiple projects at once
- Can offer excellent customer service to clients
- Will take responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time, to the highest standard
- Needs to be able to organize and plan complex projects that may involve developers and copy writers
- Needs to be able to communicate with all people working on the project to ensure deadlines are met
- Needs to organize other employee's work load
- Needs to be able to carry out projects from beginning to end with little or no supervision
- Needs to be able to deal with international customers, to source business, and become a point of contact
- Needs to have good all round knowledge of everything Internet related, email, hosting, basic computer problems, domain names, etc.
- Needs to be able to offer support to clients.
- Needs to understand that at times the job can be very admin based.
- Needs to take pleasure in seeing the company grow and become successful.

The job is ideal for someone who has been working as a web designer/developer and is looking to gain some experience in Project management.

Highlights: The town where the office is based is a very small, relaxed, friendly town. You will stay with a family (you may find your own place when you get here if you prefer) although staying with a family is a great way to learn Spanish.

We are a very small company at the moment, so it is very relaxed; we are looking for someone who will work well with us.

Qualifications: Experience in web design, exceptional skills in HTML, PHP, MySql, Flash, PhotoShop, Illustrator.

We want someone who is highly creative, that can work to any brief, corporate, charity, tourism etc. We also want someone who is highly organized and can work independently. We would like someone with an outgoing personality that can talk to clients, and other members of staff.

Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not essential.

Salary / Pay: The salary will be in the region of $500 a month. This is well above the local average. The wage is enough to go to beaches, rain forests etc each weekend. The candidate would have to arrange their own travel to Costa Rica.
